Aileen McCourt (b. 1993) is a Bay Area artist who joined NIAD Art Center in 2021. She creates atmospheric works on paper, each layered with sweeping marks made with pastel and watercolor.
Carlota Rodriguez (b. 1987) is a Bay Area artist who joined NIAD Art Center in 2016. Her vividly colored paintings and drawings draw on the history of geometric abstraction.
Dorian Reid (b. 1957) is a multidisciplinary artist who joined NIAD Art Center in 2003. Her practice spans sculpture, printmaking, painting, textiles, fashion, and performance.
Esmeralda Silva (b. 1990) has worked at NIAD Art Center since 2017. Her practice includes vividly colored paintings, drawings, textiles, jewelry, and ceramics.
Fabian Arias (b. 1999) joined NIAD Art Center in 2022. Working primarily in painting and sculpture, Arias depicts imagined and remembered seascapes, deserts, and tropical environments.
Lisa Blevens (b. 1967) worked at NIAD Art Center from 1996-2020. In that time, Blevens produced series in various media, including: embroidered drawings on canvas and stretched fabric; intricately patterned works on paper; and ceramic "Brain Bowl" vessels formed from hundreds of layered, hand-rolled swirls.
Maria Radilla (b. 1969) is a Bay Area painter and fiber and textile artist. Since joining NIAD Art Center in 2005, Radilla has produced dozens of intricately embroidered quilts inspired by the dolls, fashion, and gardens of her childhood
Michael Nuñez (b. 1994) is an artist and writer based in the Bay Area. His practice incorporates meticulous research, spanning painting and drawing, sculpture, and graphic novellas.
Maria Radilla (b. 1969) is a Bay Area painter and fiber and textile artist. Since joining NIAD Art Center in 2005, Radilla has produced dozens of intricately embroidered quilts inspired by the dolls, fashion, and gardens of her childhood.
Max Wheaton (b. 1991) has a practice that spans ceramics, painting, printmaking, and mixed media sculptures.
Raven Harper (b. 1980) is a multidisciplinary artist who joined NIAD Art Center in 2004. Harper draws inspiration from African art and Black cultural icons, and her practice encompasses printmaking, painting, textiles, and ceramics.
Samantha Kershnar (b.1979) is a multidisciplinary artist based in the Bay Area whose practice spans printmaking, sculpture, jewelry, fiber arts, and drawing. Kershnar often recreates human, animal, and hybrid characters from literature and film.
Sylvia Fragoso (b. 1962) has been working at NIAD Art Center since 1984. For Fragoso, making art is deeply tied to family, faith, and community. Many of her ceramics, drawings, and embroideries are homages to spiritual spaces.
Tre’Von Silva (b. 1995) is an artist based in the Bay Area who worked at NIAD from 2018-2024. Silva cultivated a prolific practice at NIAD that included large paintings, collages, and works on paper.

Alicia Romero Ph.D. (she/her/ella) offers coaching in Spanish from a cultural perspective, reflective practices, and social justice. She has offered psychotherapy services, general mental health services, and coaching for community leaders and individuals.
Anela Barboza PCC (she/they/oia) is passionate about co-creating space for personal and collective development through the practices of Somatics
Anjali Sawhney (she/her) is a Certified Integral Life Coach from New Ventures West and a trained Leadership Embodiment Teacher (somatic coaching based on Aikido & Mindfulness).
Antonia Slagle (she/her) is a certified embodiment coach who specializes in coaching fellow space holders, changemakers and misfits who know sharing their unique contribution is not only an act of personal transformation, but also one of collective liberation.
J Sikes (they/them) offers embodied coaching for people who want to grow in their personal or professional lives. They engage clients in conversation, exploration, and physical practices, which help clients discover longings and foster deeper connections.
Kapi`olani A. Laronal, MA, Ed., (she/her) is Haida/Tsimsian (Eagle), Kanaka Maoli (Native Hawaiian), and Filipino. She is an educator, athlete, coach, and consultant using Indigenous teachings and knowledge to support personal and community transformation and growth.
Kamela Stewart (she/her/y’all) was born and raised in Concord and lives in Antioch Kamela focuses on providing coaching services to all that are interested in living their best lives.
Katherine Ocon (she/her) is a proud Salvadoran American and Bay Area native. She finds joy in serving her community and fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued.
Latrinity Corena Gulley (they/she) is a Richmond native and loves her community. What drives Latrinity is their passion for advocacy, which started at a young age, being that they’re queer, Black, and gender nonconfoming.
Linden Podschun (they/them) is Senior Director of Embodied Leadership at RCF Connects. They have 20 years of experience in non-profit leadership, including as an Executive Director and community organizer.
Mónica Garcia (she/her) is an ICF-Accredited Holistic Career and Life Coach. Mónica also founded a non-profit in 2018 called the Love Yourself Foundation, connecting self-love of an individual to the healing of the community and planet.
Sardorbek Abdugapparov (he/him) served as a 2025 Breaking Barriers Fellow with the Asian American Pacific Islander Coalition of Contra Costa County.
